Summer sunset on Cape Cod

I like those Cape Cod shots, for the color of the sand in the sunset light. That's the moment I prefer at the beach, when people are leaving and the day prepares to rest.

Yes, I agree completely. We live in the Brookline area and have enough flexibility to get down to the National Seashore regularly toward the end of the day yet still spend 3 hours or so on the beach before sunset (and avoid the parking fees) We must have walked up & down the beach just south of Le Count Hollow 100s of times in the past 10 years and its always special each day. My digital images aren't yet up to my slides. I'm trying to work with Nikon Capture, but so far haven't had much luck with its stability. These blog images are edited on Picasa2 which is good for what it is, but it's still on the crude side and I just managed to crash this version several days ago. I'm really suprised your blog is on blogspot. How did you do your layout? I thought ones choices were very limited, but from what you've done I see there is a lot more flexibilty than I suspected. Take care, Merritt
